A book launch to introduce Re-reading Huizinga: Autumn of the Middle Ages, a Century Later, a collection of essays by leading scholars that re/consider Johan Huizinga’s famous Autumn of the Middle Ages at its 100th birthday, the most significant interpretation of late medieval European court culture. This free and public event was held at Columbia University on October 30, 2019.
